If you are travelling to California you should book at Amazon Motel. The hotel looks like is recently renovated and the guest rooms are very clean. And a spectacular atmosphere.

Stayed for seven nights with my wife. Beds were comfortable and the space was always pretty clean. The staff were being extremely handy and pleasant and constantly took care to make us feel like home. Rooms are big as well as the closet. The bathroom was also very clean and the shower was super cool. Not a super social hotel but maybe was only during our stay.
